Kesha Martin, MA completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2005, upon completion she became an educator for NISD in San Antonio. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts in Counseling and became a Licensed Professional Counselor, NCC, in 2012.
Understanding the need to provide quality care to people in rural areas or with limited ability to travel, Kesha began providing online therapy in 2016. She completed training to become a Distance Credentialed Counselor in 2017 and became a Board Certified -TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) in 2018.
Early in her career, she received in-depth, specialized counseling & advocacy training at Hays Caldwell County Women’s center. Here, she learned to work effectively with groups & individuals with a history of abuse. Most importantly, she discovered her niche & love of empowering others to find peace & freedom from unhealthy relationships.
Her specializations, include but are not limited to: women's issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief/loss Trauma/PTSD, improving communication, career counseling & cross-cultural issues. She combines narrative therapy with ACT & CBT strategies with mindfulness training throughout treatment. She provides services for adults and couples. Currently, Kesha only provides online sessions.
