Kesha Martin, MA completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2005, upon completion she became an educator for NISD in San Antonio. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts in Counseling and became a Licensed Professional Counselor, NCC, in 2012.  

Understanding the need to provide quality care to people in rural areas or with limited ability to travel, Kesha began providing online therapy in 2016.  She completed training to become a Distance Credentialed Counselor in 2017 and became a Board Certified -TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) in 2018. 

Early in her career, she received in-depth, specialized counseling & advocacy training at Hays Caldwell County Women’s center. Here, she learned to work effectively with groups & individuals  with a history of abuse.  Most importantly, she discovered her niche & love of empowering others to find peace & freedom from unhealthy relationships.    

Her specializations, include but are not limited to: women's issues, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief/loss Trauma/PTSD, improving communication, career counseling & cross-cultural issues. She combines narrative therapy with ACT & CBT strategies with mindfulness training throughout treatment.  She provides services for adults and couples. Currently, Kesha only provides online sessions. Sofia Torres, MA, LPC, NCC is a mental health counselor, art enthusiast, group facilitator, and co-owner and Creative Director of Venus Springs. 

With 10 years experience in mental health field, Sofia has a Master of Arts in Counseling with a minor in Art History from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Her specialization includes cognitive behavioral & solution focused techniques; along with knowledge of dialectical behavior therapy and holistic methods. 

Sofia  enjoys teaching the use of creativity as a means for healing, connecting, mindfulness, and open communication. She is skilled in mixed media, photography, crafting, song writing, and has acclaimed recognition in the slam poetry scene.  As a clinician, she can integrate art therapy approaches into more traditional therapeutic methods.  She believes every client's needs are unique and deserves the best care when processing concerns and accomplishing goals. 

She provides  services for children, teens, adults,  couples, & families facing issues related, but not limited, to: emotional/behavioral problems, identity issues, mood disorders, relationship/family matters, trauma, grief/loss, co-parenting conflicts, & career guidance. Sofia is passionate about sharing the benefits of art for mental health wellness and hopes to expand its significance in the community. Maria Marcon, M.S, discovered her passion for counseling and helping others while working as an Adjunct Professor for a local community college in Orlando, Florida. The interaction with the students and her work as a professor led her into pursuing a career in counseling. 

She completed her Master of Science in Psychology and earned a Certificate in Psychological Services for Spanish Speaking Populations from Our Lady of the Lake University in 2013.  This certification serves to enhance her cultural competency in working with the Latino/Spanish Speaking Population.  

During her time working as a Bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor, she had the opportunity to work with adolescents, adults, and couples in different settings; which includes community counseling centers and emergency shelters. Her most recent experience has been  at the primary care clinic. ​

In addition to her work related experience, she has conducted group sessions and presentations related to the topics of self-esteem, faith and spirituality, and women related issues. She is also trained in EMDR therapy (English & Spanish), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.
