Take a deeper look....

Kesha Martin, MA completed her Bachelors of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2005, upon completion she became an educator for NISD here in San Antonio. She went on to obtain her Master of Arts in Counseling and became a Licensed Professional Counselor, NCC, in 2012. Early in her career, she received in-depth, specialized counseling & advocacy training at Hays Caldwell County Women’s center. Here, she learned to work effectively with groups & individuals  with a history of abuse. Most importantly, she discovered her niche & love of empowering others to find peace & freedom from unhealthy relationships.

Shortly after starting her solo practice, she decided to expand her services by teaming up with a long time friend and colleague Sofia Torres MA, LPC, NCC to create a workshop for women. Soon thereafter Maria Marcon joined the team. Together they quickly realized that their dreams were in sync, and Venus Springs was born.

In July, 2017 Kesha's had to relocate but Kesha continues to work diligently to bring her vision of Venus Springs to life.  Her and her partners maintain a close connection and continue to plan and work together, despite her distance. Thanks to technological advances, she will still be very active at Venus Springs and she now provides distance counseling to Texas residents and frequently makes trips to San Antonio.
